This home is in one of Raleigh`s most outstanding neighborhoods. Appropriately named Forest Park, the neighborhood was developed from 1910 through the 1930s and is characterized by mature trees that lend it the feel of an urban forest. Yet its location is among the most convenient and walkable in the city: Walk two blocks north and you are in the Village District, with its multitude of shops and services—grocery stores, boutiques, banks, restaurants, coffee shops, and a well-stocked regional branch of the public library. Walk two blocks south and you are on Hillsborough Street, along which you will find the main campus of North Carolina State University and a plethora of choices for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Forest Park is served by several Capital Area Transit bus routes as well as NC State`s free Wolfline. This lovely house with early-20th-century character awaits your design and renovation expertise.
