We built this home and are the original owners. This was our first home together as a family/couple and we have put a lot of ourselves into the house and the yard. I will certainly miss seeing everything bloom each spring. I hope you find the copper plant markers helpful in identifying where plants will come up and what they will be once they pop out.
What we love about Lillington is it has that small town vibe and is still a short ride to shopping, parks, and other amenities. It is about half way between Fayetteville/ F.t Bragg and Raleigh or RTP so is a comfortable commute either way.
This neighborhood is very family oriented. Lots of young families who live and play here.
Food Lion and Carly C's IGA are both right here in town and only 15 minutes to any Wal Mart (Spring Lake, Dunn, Sanford, or Fuquay-Varina). The brand new Central Harnett Hospital is less than 1 mile from the house. Lots of options for eating out within 5 minutes drive. Campbell University is about 10 minutes away and so is Central Carolina Community College.
There are town events such as the 4th of July Parade, The Christmas Parade that we look forward to attending every year! Santa Clause even comes directly to this neighborhood on a fire truck each year to see all the Children before Christmas. There is the annual Dog Trot 5/10k run each year, too.
