There are a number of things that I love about Wake Forest! It is a great community, safe, has great schools, and its proximity to everything.
We love this neighborhood because we have the best neighbors - so kind, supportive, caring and fun! Always something going on in the neighborhood - with fun activities for the kids.
Favorite places to eat or grab coffee or a drink would be Compass Rose Brewery - family friendly!!! Marcos for pizza! Main Street Grille Cafe & Bakery - fab!
We love this area because it is close to everything but still has a small town feel.
There are a lot of grocery stores and conveniences close to home --- Publix, Harris Teeter, CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Movies, Dunkins, Starbucks, essentially everything is within 5-10min!
We love the area and look forward to Easter Egg Hunt in the park, Halloween trick-or-treat in the neighborhood is one of the best, Pools Open/Close events, Movies on the Lawn at the Clubhouse, Cardboard Regatta at the pool.
The first thing that really stood out to us was the feeling of home when we first walked in - the amount of space fit all our needs and accommodate any guests.
If you love relaxing, just sitting out on the back porch no matter the sun or rain, can be one of the reasons for purchasing a home in this location!
We've lovingly cared for the home and completed the following improvements: We enclosed/tiled the back deck and added eze-breeze windows to eliminate the pollen issue in Oct 2015. We also just gutted the master bath - expanded the closets and had custom closets finished along with heated floors. The first floor living area, foyer/entry, and second floor hall was recently painted as well - all in 2017.
