You will love this house just as much as we have because it is in a wonderful neighborhood with great neighbors in a perfect location. You just can't find a better development than Wood Valley. We've looked at other neighborhoods for the past 17 years doing the comparison and have not found one that out-does Wood Valley. We will miss it.
The things I love about North Raleigh are the landscape and easy access roads. It is such a pretty area.
We love this Wood Valley neighborhood because of the greenery and the convenience. There are beautiful trees and flowers everywhere. We are located just off Rt 540 and near Brier Creek - easy access to everywhere.
Favorite places to eat, grab coffee or a drink would be in Brier Creek - tons of shops and eateries.
We love this area because of the greenery. It is one of the few neighborhoods in Raleigh with plush trees and large one acre wooded lots for privacy.
Harris Teeter, Food lion, Kroger - take your pick since all are within a 5 minute ride from the house.
We love the area and look forward to the annual July 4th run and parade that goes right past our house. The HOA also hosts several activities for families such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween Party. It is a great neighborhood for families.
The first thing that really stood out to us was the size of our home. From outside it is deceiving but once inside you have three levels including a full walk-out basement and oversized garage. We park our 8 passenger GMC Yukon Denali in the garage and there is still enough room to park a motorcycle along with another vehicle.
Bird watching is great in this neighborhood. Because of all the trees and flowers you get to see a multitude of birds - different colors and sizes.
We've lovingly cared for the home and completed the following improvements:
1. Brand new front steps and stair rails, new storm door for upgraded curb appeal;
2. A lot of new carpeting;
3. Brand new stainless steel appliances;
4. Updated kitchen cabinets;
5. Updated bathrooms;
6. Thirty year transferable roof warranty has balance until Nov-2038;
7. And more..
We still love our home and would love to keep it but it is time for us to transition to something different. We know that the next family to own it will create some wonderful memories.
